Julie Kandalec, a celebrity nail artist, produced this minimalist nail art for Staud's spring/summer presentation at NYFW. Consider it the simple and elegant update to your classic French tips.
According to Kandalec, mixing different textures to achieve a really sparkly nail design would be prominent in 2024. "I love this because layering is so fun, and a lesson in colour theory," she said.
Kandalec says that many of her celebrity clients are now asking for short, squared-off nails, which fit the natural, "clean" style that everyone has been gravitating towards lately.
"I'm seeing a big transition to minimalist looks," says nail artist Hannah Lee.
