Jim Nantz explains why the 'Administrative Timeout' occurred on Sunday.

It's not every Sunday that you hear an NFL game call a "administrative timeout," but that's exactly what happened earlier today in the AFC championship game.

According to CBS's Jim Nantz, the explanation was an unidentifiable drone being too close to the action

"An administrative timeout is something you may not have heard of before. However, it appears like a drone was interfering with the action too closely. "We were told it wasn't ours," Nantz remarked.

Fans responded to the update on social media."Given how low some of these fly I'm surprised this hasn't happened more," a member of the public commented.

"Drone jerks are ruining it for the rest of us," another said."A rather dangerous security concern.

"Sean McDermott," another user tweeted."You would think that as high profile game this is the security of airspace around stadium would be better.

Play has resumed and the matter was presumably dealt with.
