Low Carb Chia Breakfast Pudding – Coffee And Tea Flavors To Start Your Day

I recently revised one of my first posts, which featured a fruity chia tea drink I made. I did this because I found a full bag of chia seeds that I wanted to use

. Anyway, the drink was so amazing that I remembered how much I enjoy chia seeds.

I also had some cold brew coffee in the fridge and some low carb protein powder, so I created this low carb chia breakfast pudding.

I made one jar with coffee and another with matcha green tea, and both were very filling.

This is a wonderful morning recipe because it contains caffeine, protein, fiber, and is low in carbs. In other words, it's the ideal breakfast for me.

Dr. Axe recommends chia seeds because they are high in fiber, omega-3 fats, protein, vitamins, and minerals. They are regarded as a superfood because they can retain up to 12 times their body weight in water.

THE BENEFITS OF CHIA SEEDS

I call these breakfast pudding for several reasons. They are similar to oatmeal, but because you eat them cold, I chose to call them pudding. I think it's a nice breakfast in the summer when you don't want anything hot and heavy like porridge.

COFFEE CHIA BREAKFAST PUDDING

Because I wanted this to be thick, I combined 4 tablespoons of chia seeds with a cup of coffee and refrigerated it for an hour. Then I pulled it out and added some Torani's sugar-free coffee syrup
