NFL Mock Draft 2024: Eagles 7-round simulation (Version 1.0)

Welcome back to our seven-round NFL mock draft simulation! This weekly piece will examine various pathways the Eagles could pursue in the 2024 NFL Draft.

As the summer progresses, hundreds of factors will influence the Eagles' draft approach, including free agency, trades, coaching changes, compensatory picks, the combine, and numerous other variables.

We are months away from the draft, so this forecast could change significantly in the following weeks.

The Eagles should launch a youth movement in their secondary. The James Bradberry/Darius Slay era may be over, as both players battled with injuries and poor performance in 2023.

Kamari Lassiter is a large, physical cornerback who would match well with former teammate Kelee Ringo to give the Eagles a formidable perimeter defence.

The Eagles boast one of the strongest wide receiver duos in the NFL, but outside of AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, Jalen Hurts' receiving options were very limited in 2023.

It may seem like a luxury option, but consider clubs like San Francisco, Cincinnati, Miami, Detroit, Seattle, and Dallas, which have legitimate pass-catching threats all over the field.

Xavier Worthy is a legitimate deep threat who can pull attention away from the Eagles' receiving combination or punish opponents that focus too much on Brown or Smith.
