Spinach, Banana, and Chia Seed Smoothies

Spinach Banana Chia Seed Smoothies - These vitamin-rich, creamy green smoothies are ideal for a nutritious breakfast or snack at any time.

I enjoy combining chia seeds and frozen banana pieces in smoothies.

Because this eliminates the need to add ice to smoothies, which can melt and dilute them.

2 cups frozen banana chunks (from about 2 very ripe bananas) 4 – 6 cups baby spinach (~6 oz package) 2 cups vanilla soy milk 1 tablespoon chia seeds


Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.

Pour into glasses to serve or chill. Smoothies store well in the refrigerator for a few days.
